In order to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, inherit cultural classics, and promote the art of calligraphy, Han Xiangren Calligraphy Exhibition and The Complete Works of Wang Chong’s Calligraphy publication symposium hosted by the Henan Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association held at the Art Museum of the Henan Province Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association opened grandly on the morning of July 1st . A total of 60 Han Xiangren calligraphy works were exhibited, mainly writing Chairman Mao Zedong's Qinyuanchun. Snow and Sending the Plague God and other poems, General Secretary Xi Jinping's Niannujiao, Remembering Jiao Yulu, Qilu. Supporting the Army and other four poems; Li Bai’s The four screens of Will Enter the Wine. They have a clear and prominent theme, and the content is sound and positive. They inherit the red culture and promote positive energy, which has generated positive social responses.
Starting at 9 o'clock, Han Xiangren, the vice chairman of Henan Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, first organized dozens of calligraphy-loving elementary and middle school students who came to visit and study together with visitors from all sectors of the community and raised their arms and shouted: “Long live the Communist Party of China!" "Long live the great, glorious and heroic Chinese people!", celebrated the birthday of the Communist Party of China together. Then in the exhibition hall, combined with his own calligraphy works, he explained to students and visitors the basic methods of writing brushes, the basics of writing regular script, running script, and cursive script, the correct application of common forms such as four-foot whole sheets, bucket squares, couplets, and strip screens, and the correctness of traditional and simplified characters, etc., and wrote the "Analects of Confucius" sentence "see the virtuous and think like the same" list book on the spot as a demonstration. The students watched the mounted calligraphy works and listened to Mr. Han's professional and detailed explanations and demonstrations. They listened attentively, remembered firmly and deeply, and achieved remarkable results.
The presidium and council members of Henan Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association held a discussion on Han Xiangren's calligraphy and his The Complete Works of Wang Chong's Calligraphy. Everyone agreed: Han Xiangren has profound calligraphy skills and attainments, strong Jin rhyme, absorbing Wang Chong's style, vigorous and straight lines, natural composition, reached a high level, and have formed his own unique style; he keeps on one development direction and has finally yielded fruitful results. The four-volume masterpiece The Complete Works of Wang Chong's Calligraphy was compiled and published, which filled the gaps in calligraphy, publishing, and academics domestic and abroad, and made great academic contributions; Calligraphy lovers learn the art of Wang Chong's calligraphy and provide a rare model, which is an irreplaceable high-level reference book for learning Wang Chong's calligraphy. His calligraphy skills and editing achievement is the glory of the Henan Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and so as to the whole calligraphy and artwork section in Zhengzhou and Henan Province, too. He is the role model for all calligraphy workers and enthusiasts in Zhengzhou and even our province.
